New review by Christian on cGAS functions in DNA damage responses, DNA replication and DNA repair

In 2024, DNA Repair published a review article written by Christian, in which he summarised the recent literature suggesting cGAS functions in diverse aspects of genome stability. This is the first summary and critical assessment of these possible additional functions of cGAS, and a particular effort was made to try and get to the bottom of various apparent contradictions in the published literature.
