Congratulations, Dr Lauren Davies!

On 18th November 2025, the lab's first PhD student, Lauren Davies, successfully defended her thesis. Lauren gave a fantastic research seminar, and also excelled in the subsequent viva exam with Eileen Parkes and Sarah McClelland. We celebrated with champagne and snacks before moving on to the pub for some more celebrations. Lauren will stay in the lab for a few months, in order to finalise her story and to get it ready for publication. Congrats, Lauren!
