The lab takes a trip to Oxford to discuss innate immunity with colleagues in the field
On 18th May 2023, Federico, Lauren, Vicente and Christian went to Oxford for the day to meet with local colleagues, as well as colleagues from Cambridge, Lancaster and Southampton. Organised by Eileen Parkes, this small meeting also included Brian Ferguson, Jan Rehwinkel, John Christianson, Leonie Unterholzner, and Stephen Beers, as well as members of each lab. At the stunning location of Worcester College, we enjoyed fantastic talks and discussions about cGAS and other innate immune DNA sensors, and their functions during DNA damage, cancer and infection. And during dinner, many future interactions were planned. Thank you to all the participants, and especially to Eileen for organising this. We all look forward to future instalments of this get-together!
